Big Bend National Park

The Big Bend is named for the vast curve of the Rio Grande located in southwest Texas and it is approximately 4 hours away from the land we are offering. It is a wildly beautiful natural region, with a fascinating history. With over a million acres of public land including Big Bend National Park and Big Bend Ranch State Park offer hiking, camping, horseback riding, mountain biking, jeep touring and breathtaking sightseeing opportunities on paved and improved roads. Accommodations offered vary from camping& RV or a simple motel room to a luxury resort.

Beginning in 2012, visitors at Big Bend will once again be allowed to legally travel back and forth between the United States and Mexico at the Boquillas crossing — once famous for its bi-national community, with tourists regularly traveling by boat across the Rio Grande for a donkey ride and a beer, and Mexican residents crossing over to shop for groceries.
